With a background in dance training and teaching, Caz’s love of Yoga began as a teenager. After suffering a debilitating back injury during a dance class, she found that Yoga could help her injury in ways traditional methods could not. She has since practiced in various styles such as Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Purna Yoga and has recently completed her 200-hour Yoga teaching certification with Byron Yoga School. Combining her love of Yoga, Boxing and Kickboxing (a hangover from her high kicking dancing days) Caz is in the process of completing her Certificate III in Fitness under the mentorship of head coach Nick Tetoros, to continue to teach and share what she loves - Yoga and Boxing.
Caz’s classes have a focus on combining the alignment and breath work of Yoga with the strength and focus required from Boxing to balance and extend both modalities. Caz has a keen interest in meditation, yogic philosophy, pre/post-natal yoga and yoga for trauma. Caz currently holds a certificate in CPR/First Aid and is a certified member of Yoga Alliance.
